In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our clients' landscapes remain healthy, vibrant, and thriving through expert fertilizer application and lawn care services.
What It Takes
- Previous experience in fertilizer application or lawn care is preferred.
- Knowledge of turf management, plant nutrition, and proper application techniques for fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
- Familiarity with the use and maintenance of application equipment such as spreaders, sprayers, and trucks.
- Strong understanding of local regulations and safety standards regarding pesticide and fertilizer application.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
What You’ll Do
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to commercial properties following industry best practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure that all application equipment is maintained and operating correctly.
- Assess the condition of lawns, plants, and turf to determine the appropriate treatments.
- Provide clients with expert advice on lawn care and plant nutrition.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, including materials used and application times.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing protective equipment and handling chemicals properly.
- Maintain excellent customer relations by providing prompt, courteous, and professional service.
